[FONT=Times][SIZE=7][COLOR=blue]hiya, hope you can help. driving car through gears no problem, as soon as you come to an incline car starts to slow and judder (as if out of fuel), also does it when you accelerate hard at higher speed (50/60). Have changed plugs, leads, ht lead, distributer cap, rotor arm, in line fuel filter with no improvement. Does anyone have any other ideas please. :liebe011:

does the engine miss-fire? as you have changed all the obvious things you best do a compression check

hiya again, engine does not seem to mis fire so much as a judder, once it starts to judder you have to slow down, then gear down to about 40 mph then engine runs ok. this happens more on an incline, on the flat its not so bad until 50/60 and accelerating. only thing i havnt changed yet is the coil, would have thought if it was coil the problem would be at all speeds and gears? :liebe011:

any fault like this will become much more apparant when the engine is under load, l still think it's worth checking the compressions, it you have got low compression on any one or more cylinders you will never get it to run right
