I don't know if any of you watched it, but it was pretty embarassing. The guy called Jeremy Clarkson trashed Hyundai quality and made cynical, rasist and bigoted comments, about Hyundai people. And all this despite of some favorable reviews by the JD Power, Sonsumer report, etc... here in North America.

I guess I'm just curious about what you think about it if you watched it. Here's the news link from BBC homepage.

Drives: Modified (180 b.h.p.) `95 Hyundai S-Coupe Turbo SE ....Sadly now sold & replaced with an `04 Alfa Romeo 156 2-litre Veloce! :-http://aol.photobox.co.uk/album/thumbnails.html?c_album=7089276&page=all

To be fair, they did exclude the Coupe/Tiburon from their general criticism of Korean - produced cars......they have always enthused about these models!.

In all honesty, Top Gear is produced by performance-minded motoring journalists and most of the audience & viewers are `car nuts`.........bread & butter passenger cars, especially in the `budget` sector, are never going to `float their boats`.

Nick.

Watched this as well and I have to say i'm pleased with the review of the Getz. The accent is a bit poor 3 cylinder diesel doesn't scream performance which is what they want most of the time. Have driven the model they were driving and it is true it will slow down as it did on the hill in Top Gear.
