ok, so i bought some speakers for my 2003 hyundai accent. it's a 4 door model, so the speakers are behind the head of the rear seats. from what i've seen so far, the grills that cover the speakers seem to be screwed down. but the main problem is, is that the screws can't be reached from inside the trunk! it's crazy man...i can't explain it. someone please help me out! i checked out hmaservice.com however, the link so the service information area isn't working for some reason.

anyway, could someone please describe to me the steps requires to remove the grill covering the rear speakers? Thanks so much.

If its anything like my car, you have to unscrew/pop off the shelf (in the trunk) to get at the speakers without snapping the covers off.

sweet....it is apparently less complicated then it seems at first. basically like you said, you need to push up on those plastic things holding the cover down in the trunk, then slide that cover out toward the front seats. man, took me forever. Thanks for your help!
