The fogs are 881's.

Here is a link for xenon replacement bulbs, this also give you the details on bulb size.

If you would like HID head lights (like BMW or Mercedes have) you would need a conversion kit. But you can buy xenon halogen bulbs (not HID), which offer a better color than OEM bulbs, but do not have a great amount of light.
If you want to upgrade you bulbs I would go with silverstar (better light and color).
I upgraded to HID with a conversion kit, and I love it, def think it is worth it, costs less than $150 and less than an hour for install.

As far as I can tell these are just straight replacement bulbs, they are not the HID system so you shouldn't need anything special.

I believe they use the xenon system for the whiter light.

when buying after market xenon halogen bulbs or HID you have to look for their light temperature. Best temperature for most light is between 4500K and 6000K. Silverstars are rated at 4000K. Other brands have a higher temp. 6000K is very white, 8000K is blueish, 10000K is purpleish, and 12000K is pinkish.
Not all halogen lights will advertise their color, but some will. PIAA's are over rated. I ordered fromt his website http://www.eurodezigns.com/ the bulbs I got from them was 8500K and I liked them, but eventually upgraded to HID.

I posted this in the HID ballasts post but meant it for here. I found a pretty good price on some xenon 881's.

Not sure on the brand but they are a good deal.
