Hi - I'm new to this site so please bear with me!

I'm just about to buy a 54 reg Terracan diesel manual with 19,000 miles on the clock. - I'm part-exing my X-trail as we need a bigger motor to tug our new caravan

I've just put a small deposit down but on the test drive I noticed that there was a time delay before the transmissions switched back to 2 wheel drive from 4 wheel drive - in the x-trail there is no delay, the change is instantaneous - it's hard to say how long the delay was, but I'd guess it was about 30 secs.

The car is really nice and clean and its Hyundai approved used from a franchised dealer - the dealer suggested this time delay was normal

What do you think? - is it normal??

What else should I be looking for?
