I have got my getz 1.5 crtd it is 1 year old and had 3500 miles on the clock when i got it. On my first tank of petrol I got 350 miles, since the tank size is 45 litres (10 gallons). I am getting 35 miles per gallon this is low compared to the 45 miles per gallon for in town driving that I should be getting.

Any ideas, would like people who have this model to tell me what miles per gallon they are getting in real life.

If you are going on published mpg, as in the handbook and other publications, forget it, those figures are "simulated", which a different kettle of fish compared to driving in the real world, I think 35 mpg is pretty good, I have a 1300 CDX automatic, again according to Hyundai I should be getting at the least 32 mpg (urban), but after fitting a K&N filter, I still struggle to get 23 mpg, which is in my eyes is very poor. I have over the years owned a lot of automatic cars, from 1100cc-2000cc and the car I have now is the worst I have owned as far as FC is concerned, but I supposed the standard equipment on the Getz more or less makes up for the poor perfomance, just me moaning, but if I can't do it here where can I do it ???? :(
