I have set the bass on my radio to '10' but still doesnt sound as if there is enough bass, anyone else notice? You wouldn't think there is a subwoofer on the sysyem!

I agree completely. I've got the wizz-bang high-end Infiinity system and it sounds like there's no subwoofer in the system at all. Or, any mid-range, for that matter.
I've checked all of my speakers to see if they are working and they all are.
My wife pointed out to me that this lack of bass response problem seems only to be an issue with the radio, i.e. when listening to music via FM or XM radio. Any time we play a CD on the car's audio system it sounds great... all the bass and mid-range comes alive. Anything coming through the air, however, has just really poor fidelity.
Try this comparison between over-the-air radio and CD payback response and see if you hear the huge difference that we hear.
We also have the rear seat entertainment system. I played my "Eagles Fairwell Tour I" DVD through that system and the sound just rocked!
I'm guessing that all this means that the radio receiver in the stereo head unit is just of really poor quality.
Any of you audiophiles out there have any other ideas on what might be causing this?
