Don't worry, we're getting used to it... To die in a dusty country, FULL of opium, and to know that the "Towlieban" will be back in control as soon as the guys pull out. How retarded. :offtopic:

Had to move it. Not sure if politics or religion should be discussed; if it turns into a big flame war I'm sure it will be locked or deleted.

Please don't allow politics of any kind.

Discussing politics is a sure way to polarize the forum and cause endless, bitter arguments. Let's just talk cars, and we'll all remain friends.

I have very strong political views myself, but never give in to the temptation voice them in my posts. If I can do it, anyone can! :)

I fully agree. The quickest way to reek havoc on this board would be to have a free for all political discussion. Too volatile. Let's all keep it attuned to cars. Politics and religion a no no. :offtopic: :amen:

Everyone has their own opinion, which is going to lead to a flame war because unless you have some sort of authorized access to actual documents in order to back up your opinion then you are deriving it from assumption.

When people start assuming that they know what is going on they start to believe that they are right. When in fact, I'm willing to bet that noone on this board and probably any other car board has no idea what is really going on in the middle east. Military or not, you know they lie to the military units there, they are fed propaganda in order to keep the morale up. Again, unless you are a member of the house or congress then you will just be slinging the same old **** around that goes around every day.

Personally I would prefer that this not occur on this board. This is a great forum for talking vehicles, which to me is a great hobby and one of the few things that I can do in order to get away from the everyday grind known as life. I'd rather stick to discussing how much we love our vehicles than how much we hate one another idea of the modern world. I mean, we all know that the modern world sucks, we just have to make the best of it. That said, I am going for a drive.
