My recently sold 2000 Gs accent is running rough the new owner acclerated the car on the freeway to a speed of 100km/h and all of a sudden the car has begin to shudder, as though it wants to fail, but it can't.

I have :

1. Replace the fuel tank with new fuel, and an injector cleaner.
2: replaced all spark plugs with new- what an easy job !
3: disconnected the battery supply over night and drained all power from the Engine management system as they can play up.
4: check for moisture build up in fuel tank.

All of the above have been performed, not sure what is going on, the car was well ooked after in my hands, it has only changed hands for four days.
Tested the battery with ign off 14.43volts engine on 14.73-14.65, aircon on 14.55-14.78, tested volted boot 12volt light 14.48- 14.67 fluctuations, is it the battery !!!!

It sounds like a tractor and I have been told it isn't accelerating as much, also when you accelerated whilst the car is stationary the bom bom bom sounds and roughness are minimal. Please help !!!! The battery indicator says charge, but it doesn't seem to be charging is this the issue, if so it is still under warranty!!!

The condition of the car can vary depending on how you took care of it for the past few years.

Bull hyundai parts are crap since I have used bosch parts the car has never ran so smooth as for the dealer DUHIG HYUNDAI FORD, they are in serious trouble for doing the dirty on hundreds of customers, the office of fair trading has a long list, also I would like to say Hyundai officially sux in making cars and parts, if they didn't then this loyal customer would not have gone elsewhere for a new car.. Period.

I really feel sorry for people who actually chose a hyundai over other cars, european cars are by far superior to a cheap and very nasty firm that is only interested in lining it's own pockets than actually designing a truly competitive and reliable piece of machinery regardless of what the American reports say.

As for the intelligent advice over the years that I given, no idiot in hyundai has the brains to truly understand a vehicle and how it operates, I have a brain which is why hyundai is by far third from the bottom on my shopping list after General motors ans Ford...

Err...all this venom over OEM sparkplug wires that didn't meet your expectations? You actually believe that one of the cheapest cars on the road should come equipped with premium parts? How grandiose is that! If you want premium parts on a cheap car you'll obviously have to purchase them separately.

You buy all the Ford and General Motors products you like...please do. Those car companies sure could use the sales. I notice you didn't mention Chrysler Corporation. I assume it is because you've heard the rumor that they might possibly be bought by...err..Hyundai?

As for European cars being far superior, well, with their superior asking prices here in the US, it would be nice to think that is the case. However, If I use my past experience with the older VWs, Audis, and Volvos as an indicator, I'd have to say...nah. I was not impressed with the mechanical design and reliability of older models of those cars (I have no experience with their late-model stuff), and I found them very similar to the American iron of the last 20+ years, neiither of which could hold a candle to the dependability offered by Asian cars of the same years.
