Hey all,
I just finally got around to purchasing some headers for my car and I've already run into a problem. Note: I am by no means, knowledgeable in this stuff...

I ended up getting the OBX 4-2-1 headers for my tib, and after receiving them, found that the system completely replaces the catalytic converter on my car. This is kind of a problem as the state I live in, (MO) does emissions testing every two years...

I don't mind not having the converter on there, but I'd much rather keep the car legal. No shop will touch the setup, as they'd have to remove the converter, which is apparently illegal. If anyone has any ideas around this, I'd be greatly appreciative.

Also, if I do go ahead and decide to put these on (and leave the car converter-less), as long as my O2 sensors are still in there somewhere, would the car run ok? I'm not too sure about this, as technically, you would think that both sensors would be reading the same thing...

Thanks for any help! :57:

you have two converters one from the on the stock header and one after the second 02 sensor. you can replace header just keep the second cat on or get a high flow cat and you should be fine and legal. i put the header in myself but if you need help on doing that you can go to rdtiburon.com under do it yourself or if you know someone who knows about cars who can help you put it on its not hard its just the rusted bolts on the stock head and cat that are hard to get off.
