I use Natty's paste wax, and swirl remover. Both are great products and come off very easily. Others might recommend Zaino. You should also think about putting paint sealant on your paint. It protects from the sun scratching the paint, or anything else that may happen due to the weather.

Hope this helps.

I have had a Grand National (black) car for the last 15 years. I had issues with swirls early on. I have used Mequirs exclusively since then and have not had another problem. They have a step system where each bottle is a numbered step in the process. To get rid of the swirls the first time around I used each step 1-4. After that I used only the cleaner, then wax. I used the spray on detailer between washes to help give a quick polish before heading to a cruise in or out on the town. Their waxes go on very easy and don't leave any hazed residue. They come off just as easy. I recommend nothing else for black paint.

Second on Meguiars. Use a good grade of orbital polisher, always use a fresh bonnet, and buff to remove the swirls. After you have all the swirls removed, use Zymol to get the deepest shine. Zymol gives a hundred yard shine. It looks like depth is added to the color behind the shine.
