Well it's been quite a few months now, and Hyundai UK continue to offer just one model of the new Accent - the Accent Atlantic available in THREE colours, and only in hatchback form (Click here to see what I'm talking about). It's weird though... Nothing's been mentioned as far as what the plans are for the Accent, and I've yet to see one in real life - I've seen NONE! I made a promise to myself that I'd buy an Accent SR when (IF) they brought them out over here, but that is sooo not going to happen!

It's a shame :(

Style wise, it's the same car as the Accent, but without all the extra goodies. I see that the UK model comes with a 1.4 Litre engine, as compared to the US 1.6.
The utter lack of options and colours would make me shy away as well. And I wonder why the warranty isn't as good as it is in the US?

Sorry about that, mate. The SE is a fun little car, I'm sad to hear that you're going to be missing out.

I've no doubt the SE is a fun car - This video alone is enough to tempt me into buying one. And yeah, I would opt for at least a 1.6 litre engine over a 1.4 if there was a choice!
Congrats on owning a cool car

YEAH BABY!! That's my car!! Same colour and package, with the exception that mine is automatic.

I doubt I'll ever drive it like that, but I may rally race it (on-road) later in life.

Dang that looks like fun!

That video was honestly what made me buy that car.

I've driven a lot of cars in my time and I've been pretty happy with this little car. I used to daily drive a 12 second mx-6 gt.. and I've honestly had more fun in this car so far. I can wait till my break in period is finally over so I can sing the motor out a little more.

And to think I traded in my e30 BMW for a... uhh accent?
No regrets on that.
