Really nice looking car. Wonder if it will be available in N. America in 2008.

Excellent pics!

Hmm, I imagine this car is the reason Hyundai have held back with the new-shape Accent over here, and judging by how the i30 looks, that's no bad thing.

Very nice, although the Kia Cee'd has a slight edge in looks and sportiness. I wonder if they're both based on the same platform.

Ah, sorry. Reading the other posts here, I see that the Hyundai i30 and the Kia Cee'd are indeed based on the same platform.

Yes, they are the same platform. I believe most new Hyundai and Kia models are the same platform.

The Kia CEE'd is already in production in Zilina, Slovakia. The I30 will be produced in Czech Rupublic, but very near to Zilina - 50km from the Kia plant.

I beleive I read somewhere that this car will be badged as an Elantra, because they were looking to compete with the Toyota Matrix. Lets just see...

Have a Vibe now and was looking at getting either another Vibe or Matrix next year. Hmmmmmmmmm might have to give this a serious look if they do bring it in the US next year.
