I'm having a problem locating a wiring diagram for my 94 Scoupe stereo.
All the wires are a base colour with a different coloured stripe. ( eg. brown/white stripe etc etc)
Can't find anything that shows these colour codes
Would anyone have any info?
Thanks
Phil

I can`t tell you much about the wiring colours.....they seem to vary between years!.

If you are fitting a new head unit & are in the U.K., Halfords will order you a car-specific harness which has a universal DIN connector to plug straight into your new stereo.
Mine cost just £10/£12.

Nick. :)
Just noticed you are Canadian!.......a good car audio shop should be able to get you the same thing.

I've just fitted a head unit to my '95 S Coupe .. got the harness, and it works but doesn't remember any settings when I turn off the ignition. In fact it seems to reset itself when the engine starts. the instructions for the head unit said some cars have the red(power) and yellow(back up power) teh other way round... does anyone know if this is the case with the S Coupe? Or any other suggestions be welcome
thanks

Matthew

Make sure you hook up the yellow wire from the stereo... to the yellow wire on the harness. It is the memory wire (it gets power all the time, even when car is off).
