A short testimoney to the structural strength of the Terracan, I was last week involved in a bad accident where a 2.5 ton van ran into the back of my stationary 2006 Terracan at 50 mph. The entire transmission and engine was ripped from the van and it folded in half.
My Terracan had severe tailgate and bumper damage the boot floor was buckled and I bent the steering wheel with my arms being locked onto it.
My repair garage has told me it needs a tailgate, bumper, rear crossmember, towbar and steering wheel. The boot floor will pull straight, she has been checked for chassis alignment and is perfect. My Terracan drove home from the accident fine!!!!!!!!!!!
The other driver was like myself shaken but ok, the police commented at the scene that if I was in a car I would have been dead or been very seriously injured.
Wont have anything else ever ever as she has just saved my life without a doubt, due back from repair in two weeks (watch this space) cant wait.

Point of interest, I have a £35000 top range shogun on hire (nice ins co) and its not a patch on the Terracan save for a lot more toys. :amen:

still alive and kicking, Hammy

Wow! Good One Hammy.
Like the TV add says...Hyundai also make tanks.
I think a bit of the tank DNA fell into the Terracan pot.
