 How To Put On Aftermarket Steering Wheel, '98 accent-uk. how do you remove wiring?

Hi, i'm new to the forum. Have just took off my airbag and then steering wheel, and then found the plastic wiring connector wont budge off the console. It has the earth wire for horn and teh main srs wire running through it, and it stips my boss kit fitting. Can anyone please help me??????
