Hi, I have a Hyundai excel 93. I am having a problem with something in the filter its like a sensor or something like that, when a connect it the car doesn't works good and when I disconnect it it will work better but it will blow a lot of black smoke. The piece worked good until last month. What can i do? What is the name of this piece

Hey Gerrito,

Sounds like the MAF(Mass Air Flow) sensor which is located in the airbox. this assembly has numerous sensors that are required to get the right fuel/air mixture and if one fails it can cause running problems.
