2007 SE w/ mud flaps & floor mats + "Protection" package (paint sealer/seat coatings): $16,400 after $1000 factory rebate. Purchased at Rick Case in Duluth, GA who charges $600 for "Doc Fee"! This "Doc Fee" is a bit ridiculous IMHO, but I insisted on lowering their base price to compensate. Plus the original $600 price for the Protection price was dropped to $200. The Protection package does provide a decent warranty on paint & interior stains. Another issue with Rick Case was they would only allow me to put $5k on my credit card..internal policy. I was hoping to get some more frequent flyer miles from my card on this purchase. Nice car though...quiet & nice to drive w/ lots of standard features.

hi, I don't know where to post this. So I am posting here. My 2001 Elantra had the timing belt, oil change, fluids done new back tires in beginning of dec, 06. In January I kept hearing this weird noise like a tin humming? on the right side. Not all the time and the car runs great, just that kind of sound. My son in law took it for a ride last night and he heard it also. he said could be brakes or steering, or nothing. He checked the fluids and they were fine. when I am on the highway it doesn't do it at all. It is like when I am off the highway, at a light then starting up again it does it. It is driving me :w00t: please help me!

'07 Elantra GLS, Seattle Blue with preferred equipment package and the 5 speed was 14,646 out the door after a $1000 rebate. The rebate I was pretty happy with as Edmunds.com (at the time) only mentioned a $500 rebate.

QUOTE(MS Fowler @ Jan 25 2007, 08:14 AM) Trying to cut thru all the dealer hype. What did you pay for your 4G Elantra? Just give the trim level, options and actual price. Don't include trade-in as thats a seperate deal. www.jacksaysyes.com then go to hyundai catonsville They have great internet deals

I know I don't have a 2007 but I bought a 2004 brand new in June of '04.
5 speed, AC, power mirrors, power everything else, mud guards.
The only thing that I would have liked was cruise control and I put a CD player in it for 100 bucks.
$10,495

I like to look at it this way. I paid retail - 500$ for a 2008 manual GL @ 0% 60 months financing.
Us canadians don't get your lower prices and longer warranty you get down there.
So that's $21508 including the $1345 freight charge, the $100 Federal A/C charge, the 5% Federal tax and the 7.5% Provincial tax.

That was including the $1000 California automatic transmission rebate, plus another $1000 dealer rebate, plus a approximately $730 off of MSRP.
