Hi, I'm new to these forums and also new to "Hyundai" in general.

I saw the the banner at the top of this forum for an ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL hyundai that is supposed to come out sometime in the near future? It was a 2 door coupe and caught my eye and I fell in love with the looks of it immediately. That is a new unreleased car right?

what is this car? when does it come out, and what is the price started at?

I'm about to buy my first hyundai and was going to buy an 07 tiburon (i love those!) but i'm not sure because I read something about them being redesigned? I'm confused as of whether they 07 are the new redesigned ones, or if the 08 models are going to be completely different with a new body style!

somebody fill me in here! thanks!

I did a reserach study for hyundai today and I spoke with the transmission designer for all of hyundai. He said the tib will be discontinued as of 2009 and a new rear drive coupe is coming out with either a 4cyl. Turbo, V6 or V8 and there will be 2 engine options. this he confirmed. Talus is out, this is in.

Well, here's what we know for sure:
The 2007 Tib is out, with updated exterior and interior styling, but absolutely no powertrain changes. Basically it's the same as '06, but with new styling.

The yellow coupe you see at this homepage was the HCD 8 concept car. Yes a concept, nothing more. There have been other concepts since, including the Talus (HCD 9) and the Hellion (HCD 10). If or when any of these will make it to production is anybody's guess.

That's all we know for sure. There are plenty of rumors of a future Tib, a Kia sport coupe, a rear-drive coupe to compete with the Infiniti G35, a rear-drive sedan (a so-called "poor man's BMW"), and any number of other things.

What will happen? Wait and see, that's the only way to know for sure.

Well, that's the 2007, which is at dealers as we speak. We can only assume that the 2008 will remain unchanged, since it would be silly to do a redesign for just one year. But, do we know for sure? No. Until the 2008 models come out no one really knows.

This information is correct. Early 2009 a new Hyundai coupe will be out.

Think RWD, 300hp, IRS, Coupe.
