I want to install an Anderson plug from my Terracan battery and mounted on my towbar to conect up to a Dual battery system on my camper trailer. Do you know if this will affect my new car warranty in any way

Hi Magpie
Must admit I had to look up the Anderson Plug before I knew exactly what it was and the description says "For use when using an auxiliary battery for starting or warm up. Save your on-board battery for the race. It comes in 2 identical halves, complete with cable connections. Half plugs can be purchased separately, as can a handle and waterproof sleeve, all designed to suit the 175 Amp Anderson Jack plug. Also available is a weatherproof boot which protects the jack plug terminals from the elements.

Now in the UK I have a Tow bar and all electrics added for drawing my Caravan and installing this has not compromised my Tucson warranty-installing towbars and electrics on a vehicle of this type is really expected by a 4x4 manufacturer.
I say go ahead and fit this and if in doubt call the dealer or Hyundai Technician for his ok.
In the UK I have fitted
MP94B Twin Socket Kit: 12n + 12s
MP94B Includes 12n and 12s sockets, pre-wired with 1.2m of black/grey 7 core cable, on twin vertical mounting plate ready to bolt on to the towbar. 12n for normal vehicle lights, 12s for caravan internal electrics etc.
Go to www.autow.co.uk to see what I mean

Hope this helps if not consider it waffle.

Cheers
