I'm planning on getting a 2007 Santa Fe this weekend but wanted to see if any current owners had found a method to connect an Ipod to the factory installed stereo. I know it plays mp3 cds but ipod is more convenient for me. Also, I know FM modulation is an option but I've tried it and it doesn't work well where I live. Any possibility of an aux in on the back of the stereo? Any aftermarket solutions?

On another topic, I'm looking at the SE FWD with no options. Without any haggling they offered invoice - 1000 rebate so around $20990. Anyone here have an SE FWD to compare that price with?

Thanks for any help guys.

Harmon Kardon drive and play is available in the UK for about £120 installed. It's probably the best /safest I've used, sound quality is impressive and there are blue Led's on the control stick

The Griffin iTrip is not good, the FM transmitter isn't great and you are still fiddling with the ipod every time you wanna change tracks etc.

If you don't want to go with fm modulation (I sure don't), then your only solution is to get an aftermarket stereo that allows ipod integration. Metra now makes an install adapter kit to make this installation possible.
