Hey all im having major problems with my car stereo i just removed the old tape deck and i did everything right use the brown as power lime green as Memory and black as ground i forgot to menshion that i have a hyundai lantra 93 model but when i go to power it up it just dosn't want to do it.. odd ive checked fuses etc.. i just can't figure it out... its like the power(brown) isn't getting any power at all if anyone can help please let me no or im just gonna have to wait a fornight to get the pros to fix it and put it in well anyway cheers :beer:

there are normally 2 positive/power wires going into the radio, 1 is for a constant power supply (for the radio tuner memory) the other should be wired through the ignition switch, have you connected both power leads? are you sure that the lime green wire is live and you have got a good ground feed (use a test light or meter)

Yo, if you can get faxes. call this USA number : (631) 436-6405. It is the Audiovox faxback system. they will fax wireing information for most cars. It is my secret to doing caraudio from my home. If you can get ahold of them let me know and I will get the info and email it to you.
