Hi I have just returned from a 400 mile round trip to collect some wheels. Went up empty, ride as usual, harsh and bouncy. Returned with 5 wheels and tyres in back and RIDE was SMOOTHER and far less HARSH. SO............. Where did I put those breeze blocks.
Does anyone have any info on better quality springs and dampers in the UK? Regards Tel

Mate you might wanto have a look at this website: www.kingsprings.com
This is an Aussie company and they do a rear spring for the Terracan. The springs are cheap and highly reputable in this part of the world.
I had the 20mm lift / one third stiffer rear Kings springs option fitted about 12 months ago for $200AUD fitted! It might be worth while just mail ordering a set over to the UK and have them fitted there. Freight may not be too much as they don't weight alot really.
The ride improvement is out of site. The jiggly highway ride is gone. They say a good set of shocks makes just as big a improvement but I haven't done it yet. Koni do a set for the Terracan as do Edelbrock. The Edelbrock shocks area dealer fitted option for the Terracan here in Aus along with a rear lift set of coils from Aurbach(Don't quote me on the spelling) because the standard suspension **** off so many customers!

We tend to make sure the torsion bars are adjusted properly first
There should be 20 mm between the front bump stop tip and the chassis. Adjustment is at the back of the torsion bar. A vertical 19mm bolt goes up through the chassis and torsion bar. Turn clockwise to raise it and a/c to lower it . Vehicle has to be unladen
