Hi ppl
I need Your opinion about using additives for treatment fuel, for example Liqui Moly Additive for Common rail Engines?

Protects the components of the fuel system (especially Common Rail Diesel) against wear, corrosion and deposits. Increases the lubricating action of Diesel fuel.

Operational area: Suitable for all Diesel engine vehicles with Common Rail injection systems. Add the contents of the can to the fuel when filling up. 250 ml is sufficient for up to 70 litres of fuel.

Is the can running like crap?
I have blown a fuel pump (CRDI) and luckily it was not in the middle of nowhere.
The mech who replaced it asked it there had been any additives.
He said that anything other than diesel will stuff the pump in no time. Apparently the fuel pump seals do not like anything but diesel.
Even though it was a warranty job I believe tha pump was around the $2,500 to $3,000 mark.
