Hi all,

My ride seems to produced a weird braking sound from the back. (rear wheel) kindda 'thuck..thuck' sound!. It happened most of the time when I pressed the brake to stop the car.

It can be described like putting a stick between the rims. untill today, I still can't find the source. Anyone experienced this b4?

spoiled my ride mood :crying:

l don't think you will find the cause of this problem without removing the wheel and checking the bake brakes. you may have got something catching on the brake shoes but it does need investigating asap

done that part. The mechanic put some grease on some parts inside the bake. The sound still there :w00t:

Need to look other alternatives... :unsure:

Replace them with Hyundai modified brake shoes

Hi

i got the same problem with my 2007 matrix
took it three times to local agents they sand papered the brake linnings and put some spray. It worked fine for a day or two then it starts all over again
ps i am from Durban South Africa.

Hyundai have modified the rear shoes for models across the range. The old style caused the knocking noise from the raer
