My girlfriend recently purchased a 2000 Hyundai Elantra GLS Wagon 5 Door, and today for the second time it would not start. The first time it didn't start was a few days ago, when she was parked in the exact same parking spot. Two times the car wouldn't start, both times sitting in the same parking spot. Between those two times the car started fine. This sounds funny, I know, but I experienced the same thing a few years ago, having problems starting a car whenever i parked in or near a particular spot. It seems too coincidental to be chance, but I could be wrong. Has anyone else ever experienced this? And more importantly, what can be done?
