Just bought a new Azera Limited. First time Hyundai owner.

First Question: How does one disable the seat belt chime?

Please don't tell me to just buckle the belt!!

You know my chime is very low. I can barely hear it which is fine with me. There may be a way of making the sound less noticable but where that may be is not known at this time. I did read your post last night and today when I drove the car I did notice the chime but then again I barely heard it.

The Sonata's seat belt chine is more annoying (loud) than the Azeras'.

The only thing I can suggest is to insert a "sound isolating" material inside where the
chime is coming from to reduce the irritable high pitch sound. I never tried this with my Sonata,
I guess I got use to it and now I don't think is necesary w/ my new Azera because is not
irritating to me. The Sonata chime is much more louder....................
