Hi all ... I have a 2005 1.6 manual hyundai matrix ( LT trim ) with mileage 26000 km , lately I encountered a steering problem ... the ground disorders can be feeled very notably in the steering wheel ... that wasen't so before ... Before , I could hardly feel and disorder on the ground ... I wander what could be the main reason .... I have another question regarding the air conditioner when turner on ... I feel a very notable vibration in the engine and the car in general ... and in the steering wheel in particular when at idle ..... this vibration can also be feeled at idle at low rpm ( lower than 1000 ) even with the A/C turned off .... do u have the same thing or I have a problem ? thanks for concerning .....

Maybe you can try checking your Wheel alignment or the tire pressure for your steering problem. As for engine vibrates when you ON the air con, check the belts or the idling sensor at the throttle body. :)

hello i have a prob with steering too
a very strong sound comes when i'am turning left with low speed after the car was running for about 20minutes in town if i;m in highspeed road no sound heard i have complain for that several times at my dealers service and the responce was that power steering pump is fault but it cannot been changed because it's not problem a sound ...not covered by quarantee...
i think that hyundai will loose some customers for that "new" behaviur ...
i will buy that part myself and i will n't never do any service at hyundai dealers service again... :bwekk:
