I'd stick with a well-established insurer. I had Progressive with my old truck (a 1996 Chevy Silverado) and it was a lot less than Geico. When buying my '07 Accent SE I was going to go with Progressive again - my coverage lapsed, of course, since I spent the last year outside of the country - but I found Geico nearly $80/mo. less. It's still more than I was paying on the truck, by a lot, but I have better coverage and it's a much more valuable vehicle now.

I'm never a fan of seemingly fly-by-night firms, especially with something as important as car insurance. Spend the extra money and buy yourself peace of mind.
