Hi there all...Whilst I was parked up the other evening taking the dog for a walk, some A******E threw an egg at my Terracan from a passing car, with the result that the offside rear passenger door has ended up with an egg shaped peppering of chips down to the primer. Whilst I'm sure I'll get the usual yolk jokes, is there anyone out there who has used a company like Chips Away or similar, to give me some feedback or recomendations in the UK please.

Many thanks...Rossco

How annoying , I assume yours is solid black in colour ? I wish I'd bought a metallic as the clearcoat would at least offer offer some protection . Mine seems really easy to damage the paintwork but it is the first black non metallic car ive owned . I was warned they're hard to keep in top condition I'm now starting to understand why ! I sympathise with your situation but unfortunately cant offer any advice other than to cover the bare metal up before corrosion sets in . Sorry ! Please post up if you find a satisfactory company to use . This forum seems rather quiet at the moment :~(

Thanks for the response......The colour is the blue mica, with a laquer finish. I've had a quote from a guy from Chips Away to the tune of £100 +VAT. He tells me he'll have to rub down and re-spray the top 3 inches of the door panel. Still mulling over my options!!!!
