They have told me that I will have to wait 6 weeks but it's coming, after many complaints about specs!!

As mentioned in previous postings, I purchased off brochure specs and have complained.

Once I know for sure then I will share the info....

Disgruntled UK owners should try talking to the dealer and stressing the original brochure specs and that the disclaimer is incorrect!!

My dealer has been onto Hyundai UK. They are saying that and RDS isn't available from Hyundai. They did say if there was one they would order it. Is there a chance that you could ask your dealer for the part number? I can pass it on to my dealer who can then argue the fact with Hyundai UK

cheers

As soon as I have the RDS stereo fitted then I am happy to share the info.

Maybe it's just a hoax. Who knows??

With all the trouble I have have with my Santa Fe and Hyjndai dealers I regret to inform that the car is now going back...

I cannot stand shabby service from a company that can't even be bothered to respond to emails.

If anyone wants to complain to Hyundai in the UK then I can suggest the email addresses below:

tony.whitehorn@hyundai-car.co.uk - MD Hyundai UK
libby.hunter@hyundai-car.co.uk - PA to MD

Timothy.Iredale@Hyundai-car.co.uk
jo.lane@hyundai-car.co.uk

Hyundai UK you tried but your dealers fail you big time!!

Goodbye.....

Dude, I do hope you haven't got rid of your car just because of the RDS on the stereo?

If you have had other issues with Hyundai UK would you like to share them with us so that we can maybe get a heads up on potential pitfalls?

I for one am very happy with my purchase so far, yes there are little niggles but nothing that £200 wouldn't sort out ie IPOD and RDS integration.

The rest of the package far outweighs that minor issue surely..? :57:

I just had a look at the REVO website and I have to say it looks cool. Whats the reception like? I don't suppose it supports RDS? Great idea for non disruptive DAB support tho...

Yes. Thecar drives like a dream but unfortunately, I have had trouble with the dealers lying to me!! First the RDS radio and fogs were promised and now after months of waiting they have told me NO they are not coming.

Also had a problem with central door locking.

Took it into the dealer and they fixed the original fault but moved the fault to other doors.

The dealer then told me I had to wait as they did not have an engineer to sort it out!! 6 - 8 week wait.

Totally fed up with the service from Hyundai and really if they can't be bothered with me then why should I bother advertising their product..

I even gave alternatives for them the seek for the radio issue but this just landed on deaf ears...

All I can really say is HYUNDAI - WAKE UP!! The dealers are damaging a reputation.

Had no problem with Nissan so will be looking at what they can offer.

I never say never again, as the car was great to drive, maybe get another when time is right....

Revo has info display, station, whats playing etc. Reception isnt bad, not as good as the blaupunkt i had.
Phatal - sorry about probs I had same probs with my dealer, I also had a prolbem with central locking. The passenger side wouldnt unlock, went in for repair, then locked by itself. All problems ironed out, and i'm happy. The dealer told me if they order a part that isnt at fault, they have to pay for it! I had a prob with temp. control, it cost £700 and they didnt want to stick their neck out. I rang customer service and it was dealt with. Touch wood, all ok now

Still love the car just hate bad service and being lied to....

Maybe if just someone could help then I might rethink..

Have spoken with Metra regarding their facia panel for the radio but they state it is for left hand models only...

Does anybody know if this has been tried on a UK spec Santa Fe...

http://www.metraonline.com/

Part No: 99-7325 for a single ISO radio fit

or

95-7325 for a double ISO radio fit..

Please comment...

Even the dealers GM said it was a problem... He had it on his Santa Fe as well.
