 Removing Floor Console?, Advice on removing the end cover...

Has anyone successfully removed the floor console? I'm having a bit of trouble removing the end cover (where the 12V outlet is) - any advice from anyone who's successfully taken it off? It seems that (according to WebTech) once that's removed, it's just a matter of screws and bolts, which are no problem.
