Hi All

I have just bought a hyundai santa fe and was wondering if anyone has any experience of running it on biodiesel?

Will running it on biodiesel effect the manufacturers warranty?

And has anyone tried mixing the diesel with some vegatable oil? If so, was it ok?

Hi icedbunman
I have been told that our 2.0 crtd diesel powered Hyundais are not capable of running biodiesel, I have a Tucson and would like to use a cheaper fuel and have emailed Hyundai asking what parts I will need to change to get my vehicle running on Bio but to date they have not even bothered with a reply and this is typical of Hyundai they do not ever listen to their owning public, if they did then perhaps they would be the No 1 supplier of vehicles not the umpteenth

Can any perso tell us what we need to change on the 2.0 CRTD Hyundai diesel to make it Bio compliant please?

Regards
Itza :460: :460: :460:

Thanks for that.

I think it may be fare to say that it would void the warranty if it was used then. :auto: :auto: :( :auto:

Bio does not have the correct lubrication properties and will void your warranty
