Just a quick vid of an upgrade that I did to my stereo.

Very nice. I'm planning on doing the same. I already have 2x10" subs with 1200w Hifonics amp and it pounds. But I want to upgrade the head unit. What did you pay for all of it?

I know you don't like the backup camera, but I have very dark tint and would like to have the camera. How much extra was it?

It cost a good bit of money. That camera retails at $150. The most expensive piece was that JL Audio sub. That thing is expensive, but I love how is sounds, how it looks factory, and how I still have my trunk space. I got a good price, but you can look up the pieces and see how the price starts adding up quickly.
Pioneer AVH-X5600BHS
Jl Audio XD700/5
JL Audio stealth box
Now that doesn't sound too expensive, but then start adding the extras. This is the **** people don't think about.:
Sirius XM tuner
CD-IV203 interface cable for iPhone 5s
Apple lighting to VGA adapter
Pioneer back up camera
Metra steering wheel interface
Module to trick headunit into thinking its always in park (plays vids while driving)
Metra wiring harness
JL Audio remote bass level control knob
Scosche dash kit
Cables

As you can see, there's a lot more stuff involved then just head unit, amp, sub. But I love it and I'm glad I did it. It's a shame I couldn't show how YouTube vids play on the head unit and I love where the remote sub level control is located. It looks like it came there from the factory.

Pioneer AVH-X5600BHS - $365 - Sonic Elextronix
Jl Audio XD700/5 - not needed
JL Audio stealth box - not needed
Sirius XM tuner - not needed
CD-IV203 interface cable for iPhone 5s - not needed
Apple lighting to VGA adapter - not needed
Pioneer back up camera - I can get one for $50
Metra steering wheel interface - $65
Module to trick headunit into thinking its always in park (plays vids while driving - I can wire this myself
Metra wiring harness - $25
JL Audio remote bass level control knob - already have one with my amp
Scosche dash kit - $70
Cables - already have

So I say $580 installed for head unit, backup camera, and keeping steering wheel controls. I put 2x10" subs with 1200w amp for $650.

Yes, you can do Pandora through blue tooth, but there really is no reason for you to get this head unit unless you're gonna conect your phone to it and use the app radio features (iPhone with the cables or android with the mirror link). And if your heart is set on this unit and you don't want SiriusXM, get the 4600 model. The only difference is the XM and the digital tuner I think (wich is annoying anyway switching back and forth from analog to digital). You can save yourself $50.

does the bluetooth controls on the steering wheel work also or is that now controlled thru the radio? I did a full install also just didnt change the head unit. I did 2 sets of JL components in the front and rear doors, a JL XD600.1 amp on 2 JL 10W3s and a JL XD 300.4 on the interiors. I want to get the stealth box to free up my trunk. Looks great!
