first oil change - 3000 miles, what else?

Scheduling my first oil change at Hyundai dealer, what else I need to ask/remind the technician to check/service such as tightening...etc?

So far, I have:
- Fixing the rear squeaking noise

On my 2013 i currently have 800 miles, I usually have my first oil change at 1k miles becaus of all the access metal in the oil and debris in the oil, then do another at 3500 and then every 3k miles.

But I don't see anything else you'd be asking the dealership to do

The dealer will usually check all the fluid levels for you, brake, power steering, windshield fluid, transmission and differential. If it were my car I'd ask them to re-torque the wheels. If the wheels are too tight the rotors could warp. Tire shops that use an air gun on the lug nuts often over tighten them. Hope this helps.

The dealer should also check whether there are any TSB's that should be applied to your car. Nothing else unless you have any issues that should be handled under warranty.

Good notes, thank you.

How about the oil type? Is it worth to pay extra and ask the dealer to use synth oil?

Does your manual say change the oil every 3k? My service manager has told me 3 or 4 times that it is 6k, there is no more 3k.

There is owners guide for maintenance that states first oil change to be at 3k

My local dealership stocks Amsoil so that is what I use. I don't mind paying extra for it since it is a good oil. Do some research to see if the synthetic that they offer is a good oil.

When Hyundai dealers offer to add the synth oil, do they have the one that comes bulk or sealed bottles?
