Has anyone replaced theirs and found better cabin circulation, more air flow, etc.? I am not sure what the recommented change interval is and could not find it in the service manual.

Dear nevis,

Duh, you are right...not in the owner's manual. The old standard is take out your cabin air filter, hold up to a trouble light, if you can see light the filter is not clogged enough to require replacement.

I have a 2004 Santa Fe, so I probably should check my cabin air filter, hmm?

When I changed the cabin air filter in a 2001 Sonata, I also used a Shop Vac carefully to clean dust and leaves out and it really did improve the air flow with a new filter.

Where's my bailout?
