Realizing I'm a bit late to the party, it is very frustrating the (1) the Hyundai Service Website indicates there is a switch for "OFF" and "SET" but when I pulled my central facia apart, there was no such switch to be found on the keyless entry component, so (2) I'm going to have to pay the dealership to do this. I am unfortunately a single woman with a mortgage who is unemployed at the moment and trying to save the fee of fixing this via the dealership, but I have to say this stinks! Just one more thing I should be able to fix on my own but that the dealership will force me to pay them for.

Please...someone tell me I'm missing something.

Hi, I'm new here. I know hardly anything about cars....dogs, yes, but cars??? Well, I know how to pump gas, change a tire, check my oil....that's about it.

I lost my keys and remote so I had to get replacements and since I didn't have my car at the dealer, I couldn't have the remote programmed.

I was told that I had to bring it to them so they can program the remote by using a computer. I was also told that I could not bring my car to any other dealer. In the past I have programmed a remote on my old car (a Subaru) with hardly any trouble. So, can I program my 2003 Santa Fe on my own? Are the instructions on the Service Technology Website? Or is it ?

Thanks!
