Sants fe 2003 ABS light comes on, error code C1274

Hi, I have a 2003 diesel GS Santa Fe, every now and then when driving the ABS light comes on, not very often but it does, if I switch the ignition off and restart it goes out, I had it on a fault finder computer and it showed code c1274, I think its something to do with the G sensor and the way it breaks (ABS) is it an easy fault to fix? What are the costs involved and will it affect the driving of the car, like I say it rarely comes on and I dont notice any change in how it drives. What advice or suggestions can you give me. I doubt it will cone on during the mot, I live in the uk.

abs warning light

Hi I had similar on my 2001 santa It was a broken abs ring hyundai call it a tone ring when they get older they can crack /split . easy way to spot is remove road wheels, and slowly revolve drive shaft look into roots of the ring for hairline crack ,mine was loose. inexpensive to buy and not to difficult to replace , They are shink fit on the drive shaft heated gently it expands slip it on and shinks in place there is one on each drive shaft or hub mine was n/s front hyundai parts guy reckoned n/s is in the gully with all the salt and crap splashing on it that was the most common one to replace .
