I am new to this forum and this type of communicating so hope this turns out OK.
I need help locating the Crankshaft position sensor and the camshaft position sensor.
I'd like to change these myself if possible, but am confused as to where they are.
the Hyundai tech says the crankshaft is behind the timing belt cover, but I think that"s for the 4 cyl. 2.4L
Pep Boys service says rear of engine on drivers side and Autozone parts says on the front where all the other
accessories are located. no body knows if on top, side, or bottom.

[b]Not on a 2.7,, 2.7 is on the block behind the starter.. Me thinks I done (2) already this week, 1 was this afternoon, kid beside me did 1 on a 2.7 Sonata too

2.4 and 3.5 is at nose of crank behind the timing belt cog

and the camshaft position sensor.
[b]Why, we dont see that as a problem item on the 2.7.... if you bound and determined to replace the cam angle sensor,, it is on the rear of the Bank 1 cylinder head, it is an aluminum cap looking thing, with sensor on it and I want to say the connector is green.. I know I gots 1 somewhere in the garage for pic, but it likely take to long to sort throught the disaster I have out there.

[b]Thats because they not Hyundai/Kia techs now,,, right....
