Well went to auto zone to have the trouble codes pulled.

well it gave 320, which is not on the list of hyundai codes. I was wondering if anyone else has had this same code. Or does the auto zone scanners not work for hyundai

Don't hold me completely to it, but after google and other searches, i found
The code was for P0320, ignition/distributor speed input circuit and primary/secondary ignition coil circuit malfunction.
I know autozone scanners work for our whips because i used them a few times and had no problems.

Replace the igniton fail sensor.... follow the wiring off the coil harness off to the back of head, you will find a flat black module bolted there...

Hi, not sure what model you have? but if its a 2.0 CRDi P0320 suggests it may be Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor/Engine (RPM) Sensor circuit malfunction. Probable cause: wiring, CKP/RPM sensor, EMC. Let me know if you have a different model. Fionn

2.4 4cylinder USA model is gasoline MELCO system... Diesel Hyundai not available in USA
