That's right. I don't want to know if your purge valve is good or not. Just disconnect it first, you don't need it at all.

Why don't you try isolating the suction side of your purge valve. They get clogged and leak, which can lead to hard starting under certain conditions. Just disconnect the suction side vacuum line...

I ask what exactly is the problem because it might not be a clutch problem.... It could be your clutch hydraulics, which is much easier and cheaper to deal with. So please explain your problem.

There's no danger with gas in the purge valve. Purge valve only allows the intake to suck some gas vapors, a little at a time, once in a while. You'd have a hard time starting a fire.

If you have a code for a MAF sensor, you replace the MAF sensor and you still get the code, then I'm suggesting the wiring harness at the MAF is bad. See if you can find a wiring harness pigtail...

I think it was likely he knew something was up with the motor, and he filled it will motor honey long enough to find a unsuspecting mark. Also I find it interesting that a WV car would be better...

Sounds to me like you should bleed and de-gunk the clutch hydraulics first. You could save yourself a lot of trouble. It might be your clutch, but if your clutch fluid is black, then try bleeding...

You should be able to rotate it back into position without hurting anything. Don't force it, take it easy, etc. I can't give you any easy answers to get the belt around the cogs, it should fit.
