Tire pressures will drop 1PSI for every ten degrees in ambient air temperature. That is also a flexible formula depending upon sea level, but the 1-for-10 is the easiest to remember. So pretty much if you bought your car in the summer they were filled at 70degrees+ and now its 30 so you could have dropped as much as 4-5PSI in each tire. I just checked mine the past 29degree day we had and all were at 27-29PSI recommended is 32PSI (in my GLS). Check them all with a gauge and fill to the appropriate PSI. The light will go off right away. You do not need to drive it for the system to reset itself like on some cars (i.e. Chryslers).
