Adding Cruise control.

Hey guys, not sure if all versions in America came with it, so just wondering; anyone considered adding cruise control to your version?
BTW, which button activates it, is it one on the steering wheel?

I saw a leather original steering wheel on ebay that could replace mine (has no buttons at all) and it had radio and bluetooth buttons, so I was wondering if I'd only need to change the steering wheel to add cruise speed control.
Thanks ina dvance.

Thanks a lot, you've been great.
I've fount on ebay this one: Link but it appears to be lacking some buttons, like the up and down arrows in the right commands, and both buttons in the right (it does have a 'mute' one).
Could anyone help me out in telling me what are those for, and what is the function of the one at the right V / of the wheel.
Is one of those the cruise control?
Some guys are offering the CC for Accent 2012 for around 250 bucks.
Thanks in advance,
Fabian.

It looks like that one has just audio controls. You'll want to look for a wheel with controls like the one in the picture rtrice81 posted.

Changing the steering wheel will not get you cruise control. None of the wiring, relays, safety switches, or control unit is included on the car. Hyundai does not offer a factory cruise control kit for their cars. The only way to get cruise is to install an aftermarket kit, which normally uses a separate stalk that comes out of the steering column cover. So, unless you want the factory leather wrapped wheel, it would be a waste of time to change it out.

Thanks for your answers. However, my steering wheel doesn't have radio buttons in it; and that one does have, so you think that changing the steering wheel I'd at least get audio buttons, or those won't work either?
Thanks!

Actually, all of the necessary safety equipment is installed already. The car uses fly-by-wire throttle and all inputs are regulated through the ecm. Clutch actuation has a switch as does the brakes and the shifter as the ecm needs input from all of these to operate the engine at maximum efficiency. The cruise control function is 100% carried out by the ecm if the cruise buttons, harness and relay are installed and the function is "turned on" within the ecm programming. These 2010-up Hyundais are nothing like the Hyundais of the previous years.

You would have to wire the controls to the radio, which would probably be a big job...

I don't see what that has to do with this topic...the harness and relays are not installed, the OP wanted to install the steering wheel so they would have the buttons, but other posters advised them that this would not give them cruise control.

Apparently you neglected to read this little tidbit of information when you formulated your response.

This has quite a bit to do with the OPs post as these components (or lack there of) is relevant when installing cruise control.
