|My fuel pump is dyin and i need to replace it,but cant see how to remove it from tank. have the access panel off in trunk and am able to disconnect everything but cant seem to figure out how to pull it....Any help out there???|
|Was there any code to indicate it was a pump failure? I am curious to learn how did you test it for the pump problem?|
First hint of the module going away is long crank time or constant crank with no fire.. have assistant wiggle connector around or hold it to one side to make better pin connect, and it may fire up and run, then die as connector wiggled.
Pump itself not been failure item, it is the poor connection that deliver needed power to the pump... see the pics above of the darkened terminals and burnt plastic.
