Any ideas of what causes this?
[b]Yes, SRSCM has detected a fault somewhere in the SRS system.
What can i check?
[b]Nothing, will need to visit Hyundai dealer and scan the SRSCM for DTC and proceed from there.
Is there really a problem?
[b]Scan and retrieve the codes, go from there.

i really liked this suggestion. I reseated all connections under both the driver's and passenger's seat, but I still have the Air Bag light lit.
I will take it to Hyundai service since that seems the only way to reset the light and hey maybe there is a real problem here. I also have a recall that also needs to get taken care of on the brake lights.
Question for SBR: in another thread you mention also getting a PCM update. Since the car is in there anyway is that something they will do for free?
If the car falls in the 5/60, tell them the idle fluctuates cold... they dont need code for that concern, that'll get you the new style TPS and PCM upgrade to latest version if not there yet.
Biggest SRS thing we see with the early NF is 1448 for OCS mat defect ($1000 seat bottom replace) and buckle pretension codes for either front buckle exploder.. buckle assembly is just less than $200 each, come in grey or beige.. I got a pile of them here and at home that I need to discharge the exploder before tossing in trash.
I have 1 with a warning light circuit code that wont go away.. back for 3rd attempt. Found previous history on chassis that shows body shop visit numerous times, and previous warning light circuit before I got it.. and appesr to have had wiring harness repair or replace (need to dig deeper and find the truth).
