A friend of mine with an 07 sonata I4 similAR to mine is putting wheel spacers on his car so he needs to replace the wheel studs for longer ones any one have info on how to replace the front and rear studs thanx

Not hard,, punch old studs out, pull new studs in..

Of course you will need to remove rotors to see the actual hub flange though..

Trick is finding studs with same splined shank as what used in Hyundai so they hold in the flange properly.

Dosent the hub have to be removed in the front to get to the studs, i got 2 of my stripped last year and i had to cut off the dust shield behind the rotor to get the new ones back in because i didnt want to take of the hub

Removal of hub will cost you a wheel bearing, snap ring, some press time, and R&R of spindle from the chassis...

Cheaper to remove caliper and rotor, and make a slot for the stud to pass into the back of hub.. I have taken and used die grinder burr to trim iron off the spindle enough to allow stud to pass and enter the hub..
