TreyDog650 Bought all the parts for the big 60000 mile maintenance. Going to do all the belts. Water pump. Spark plugs. Coil packs. Oil.
Hopefully I'm competent enough to get it all done haha

TreyDog650 so im about to roll over 61000 and i still havent done the timing belt. shame on me
i did DD1 and CC1 my mids and highs amp yesterday tho and its so much cleaner. Im going to order the kit probably monday and get it done this weekend.
Might even have time to throw my subs back in. We will see!

The_AirHawk I did mine at 68,000 IIRC, and the belt was still pretty "supple" and free of cracks (probably made of EPDM), could have likely gone to the end of the car (another ~10,000 miles later. Heh.).

It's not going to fail at 60,002.6 miles.

If you find just the belt(s) in a kit, lemme know and I'll send you the pump. But I don't really think you're going to need it before the next timing belt change is due - those things tend to last about 120,000-150,000 miles.

Changing the accessory-drive belts with the timing belt is just a good practice, though. They've got as much wear and tear as the timing belt, and it's annoying to listen to them squeal.....

TreyDog650 I would buy the water pump off you but it comes with the kit, unless i can find individual pieces for cheaper, so i will look for that now.

Here is some body work i did LOL

Its getting close to do the timing belt. im actually at 59500 now

also no major updates on the car. got an ugly dent on my hatch door tho. will post pic upon request! haha

working on audio but with me working 16 hours every day 6 days a week, i dont have too much time lol

The only thing is, you probably won't need the cam/crank seal, or the water pump. Everything else in the kit is Good.

If anyone needs a water pump for this engine, I've got one NIB they can have for shipping, BTW. (leftover from timing and accessory belt change I did last year - prior to the Death of an Accent).
