Right now my wife's Santa Fe has this stereo:
She is jealous of my Veloster's stereo and features like the bluetooth calling mainly.
Any suggestions for a good stereo that "looks" stock/factory?
I saw those Chinese touchscreen units on Ebay, but Im a little leery to buy one of those. Everytime I have gotten something like that from an Ebay Hong Kong user, it always works for a little then dies or is a complete piece of junk.
I was looking into this head unit:

|windrider||check out the Rosen unit,i installed in my 2010 it looks like factory and functions like factory, and yes you can get satellite radio it has a 7 inch screen works with steering wheel controls, also has a 6 disc virtual cd changer built in ( you copy 6 of your cd's to unit and then you have them when ever you want) and best of all a great navigation platform ,also its a easy install where you use your cars wiring plug in with no wiring cutting at all.|

|fastSdime||So I really been looking in to putting one of these in to my wife's 2010 Santa Fe Limited that doesn't have navigation in it currently. She will not give up her xm and doesn't want some 3rd party non OEM looking part in her car. Does any of these come with XM?|

Good luck with that. Another Chinese Garage Shop operation. Their web page does not identify a means for getting updated maps or firmware, and about all one can tell is that whatever routing engine they're using, it's based upon WinCE 6.
If there's a source for map updates, I hope it came in the documentation that accompanied your unit. I take it your contact with the supplier wasn't productive.
Wowee as these look on paper, caveat emptor.

Spark Unit from FedomCn
I got my unit from fedomcn, it is made specifically for the Chevrolet Spark:
I would like to know how to get an update for this unit, I have already contacted the supplier but it seems that this forum has lots of info and experience, so any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!!

I have another question regarding these head units.
I have this one here http://www.hyundai-forums.com/187-cm...ml#post2256682
For the unit to turn on I have to have keys in the ignition and clicked to the right, is there anyway that it can be turned on without having to have the ignition switched on?
The same goes for the roof mounted dvd, I have to have keys in the ignition turned just short of starting the car for it to be on.
Would be handy if it could be powered on without this, we do a bit of camping and it would be nice on occasion to leave the kids watching a dvd without leaving the keys in the car.
Also is it ok for the ignition to be left a turn short of starting the vehicle for lengthy periods?

I have a 2008 Santa Fe in which i replaced the stereo with a 2011 Stereo most function worked great but I can not get the microphone because i don't know what pins i need to connect the home made cable to.
Also i lost capability to control the steering control.

As promised, here are some pictures before installing, during the installation and after the installation so you can see the final result, I'm pretty happy with the head unit and as it does came with android installed I can install apps directly from the play store or using a memory card, all the functions work well except the steering wheel controls as there are some difficulties when programming them, the "seek" button does not work well, if you move forward it goes to the next radio station but sometimes the next/prev both go to the previous radio station, and the mute button sometimes act as the mode button, I think I can live with that as I mainly use the volume and mode buttons but it would be great to solve that problem.
Have a great day!

I just bought a new head unit with Android! Wifi, Bluetooth, backup camera, etc... I'm waiting to receive it and I will upload pictures of the installation process.
It comes with everything you'll ever need and I also just bought the port retention adapter (Original USB 3 5mm Aux Port Retention for Aftermarket Radio Wire Adapter HY30 | eBay) so I can keep and use the usb port and the 3.5 jack located where the seat warmers switches are.
Here's the head unit I bought:

In the meanwhile here's a super handy video on how to remove your OEM stereo:
I'll keep you guys posted!

Can you add backup camera to 2009 Santa-Fe Navigation unit?
Is it possible to add a backup camera to my navigation unit or does it require a new head unit?
