Can you add backup camera to 2009 Santa-Fe Navigation unit?

Is it possible to add a backup camera to my navigation unit or does it require a new head unit?

manual for multimedia player?

Hi

I have just brought a santa fe which already has what I think is the Wd6001 installed. I have had a browse through these 100 or so pages, thanks for the tip on having the gps and music on at the same time, that had he worried for a little while.

Attached is a picture of the unit, is this the wd6001?
Does anyone have a manual that they could share please?
How do you store radio channels?
How can I get hold of other skins and backgrounds etc?

Thanks
Patrick

IvanPM Hi, I have a 2007 Santa Fe Limited 3.3l, my stereo had problems and I decided to change it for a DVD player, I was looking for the perfect match with the blue dashboard lights and I found this one on and bought it: 6 2 inch Car DVD 3G USB Radio BT Headunit GPS for for Hyundai Santa FE 2007 2011 | eBay, now I have the unit and I'm looking for some help for the installation.

I received the new DVD player with no installation manual, Its supposed to be plug and play and all the original features as the steering wheel controls must function well, the problem is I received lot of cables with the DVD (the ones shown in the link at the end of the page) and I don't know the which one I have to use.

If someone with experience cold help me with unmounts the dashboard panels and the installation please let me know.

Thanks

crackinhedz Mark, you have to get the middle console out first to get to the section you need.

This thread discusses removing the console, hope it helps.

MarkAfterDark Hi All,
I have recently installed a Pioneer AVH-X3500BHS. Now I have purchased an extension for the USB/AUX in, which I would like to install in the center console where the seat heater switches would be (if I had them.)

There are two narrow and one wide blank plates. The wide one in the center (between the cigarette lighter and aux power, for further reference,) is the perfect size for this unit.
The problem is that I have no idea how to get into the console to run the cable and get the plate out. Also, I pulled the little rubber pad inside that pocket out, but getting it back in doesn't look so easy. (I was hoping to find some screws there.)
Does anyone have instructions for getting in there?

Thanks!

santa22 Part Number: SWI-RC from PAC audio is what I used to enable my steering wheel controls for my aftermarket Pioneer Radio. There tech support is great. Don't use wire taps. You have to tap into the vehicle radio wire harness connector 1 Pin 11 with the white wire from the PAC module and ground out the pin 12 on connector 1. U also have to connect the red wire for Power to the module And attach the black wire from the module to ground. U need good ground connections for the module to work correctly.
