teredactle Hi all, I'm looking to upgrade the standard unit that came on my SantaFe with the NAV/GPS/REAR Camera OEM unit from another santa fe at a junk yard.

Does anyone know the Hyundai PN for the NAV/Camera unit that was in the 2012? That would help my search.

chezdan9 Howdy everybody - I just installed an aftermarket radio in my 2007 Santa Fe Limited. Everything works great except the backup camera! I got the 12v power from the backup lamps in the tailgate, and took the 12v reverse signal from the red connector (pin 2) behind the passenger kick panel.

When I put the car in reverse, I get a signal and video. HOWEVER, when I step on the brake, the signal goes away and then comes back when I take my foot off the brake.

Any clues as to where I went wrong? I'm thinking of just wiring the power and reverse signal together and taking both from the reverse lamp.

Any help or insights would be appreciated!

RaDiUm Radington Hey guys, so I just read most of this thread and wondering what the general consensus is for the best aftermarket unit to buy? I have a 2010 Santa Fe GL which does not have the infinity system or navigation.

Here is a picture of my factory head unit:

Thanks guys!

Android 4.4.4 unit for 2007 Santa Fe CM

I've checked the latest pages of this thread and found some good recommendations. Problem with Pioneer, JVC et al, for me is that their maps are regional and I live in Sweden. Because of that, I'd like an Android based system. Looking at ebay, Amazon it's hard to tell if the highest recommended units would fit a Santa Fe CM or not. Looking at Aliexpress, I can easily find units that according to the sellers would fit. But none of them have any user recommendations, so there's no way to tell if they're good or not.

Anyone has good experience of an Android based system and may give me a recommendation?
Back camera (would like to use wireless)

rockmeister I am trying to replace the head unit of my wife's 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited (Touring) Head-unit with the CarJoying (RK3188) android HU. The Sante Fe has Infinity Speakers with rear seat entertainment (RSE) but no Navigation. It has a button for XM and a button for Logic 7 and I *think* it has an amplifier under the front passenger seat.

Wife's Wishlist
Good quality bluetooth for music and phone calls
Keep SWC (Steering wheel control)
Good Navigation GPS
Ability to just plug in a suitable harness (no cutting wires etc.)
Ability to play audio from RSE (rear seat entertainment) . A nice to have is to keep the ability to control RSE from SWC

Q1: Has anyone installed a CarJoying (RK3188) on Santa Fe?
Q2: Does my car indeed have a Amplifier, if so, do I need an HU that has preout or would it work equally well with Line Output Converter?
Q3: will I be able to control RSE from the front?
Q4: What adapters would I need? I looked it up on Crutchfield and it listed the following four
(a) PAC SWI-RC Steering Wheel Control Adapter
(b) Scosche HY1612B Dash Kit
(c) Scosche SLC4 Line Output Converter
(d) Metra 70-7302 Receiver Wiring Harness

Thanks a bunch
PS: Carjoying RK3188 is available on Amazon but I cannot add a link (yet) on this forum.

Boxman I have the 2008 Santa Fe GLS (2.7L) with the base head unit (single disc, no navigation). Does my head unit have the Sirius/XM tuner built in, or is the tuner external? I'm wanting to get a new head unit but don't want to lose satellite radio in the process.

Does anyone know the answer?

crackinhedz I originally started with the OEM Nav (2012 Limited). The oem look is very hard to let go, I loved it. But it just lacked options. So I went aftermarket with a Pioneer AVIC X850bt. Also a great unit, but also lacking with options - specifically eq I have now embarked onto the CarPC venture, using Optical connection to a DSP. Should give all the options I will ever need in a car. Overkill? Perhaps. But I only live once.

I have sent the eBay seller you found a message asking about fitment. It it will fit, there is my answer. In that listing, they talk about an external amplifier...does my Infinity setup have it? If so, where is it?
Yes, that's the same as my unit. So, if you have no luck upgrading, my offer still stands...
