Thank you Rich... I appreciate that. In regards to the moderator... I had no problem with what he did. v33sonata stepped in because he saw where it was going. Unfortunately Destro stepped in with his sarcastic response which brought nothing to the thread. His post was aimed directly at me and the moderator saw through it. This wasn't the first time this has happened... me and lilbuddy16 (Mike) have been recipients of his garbage. From what I understand the moderator is keeping an eye on him.

Again Rich, thank you. The last thing I want to do is offend anyone

Trust me man, you did not offend me in any way.

I also work with people from all nations and walks of life, so I have no prejudice against any ethnic or racial group. I also have no problem using the term "illegal alien" because I feel it is accurate for any person who is here without going through the proper channels.

My post was actually taking a dig at people who are here illegally. I had a friend that was very badly injured by a driver who was not here legally, and he lost a lot of money above and beyond what his insurance paid.

I think the only person who may have been offended was the moderator who deleted our posts

I appreciate you reaching out to clear the air, but I can assure you I was in no way offended.

Enjoy that beach tomorrow! I hope the weather is beach perfect for ya. Glad to hear the wheels are fixed. So, you are going a little lower, eh? It's going to look really nice! My car is as low as I want it. I took it down with Eibach springs and I'm happy. You won't believe what happened to me yesterday. Some idiot hit my left rear quarter panel with the brunt of the impact on my wheel. It's going to have to be replaced because there are some gouges, etc. And to top it off, the person who hit me took off. You take care! :-)

    PART 2...
You have two options depending on what's important to you. 1) Replace the fog light bulb (an H8) with a matching color temp LED. Like the highs, your fogs will no longer be particularly useful for visibility but they'll look good. 2) Install an HID kit of the same color temp in the fogs. This will allow you to retain their usefulness but also look good. The main thing to remember if you go the HID route for the fogs is that our fogs don't use projector lenses like the low beams do, so you won't have a focused beam and may "blind" oncoming drivers if you run them all the time. If you just use them as necessary (fog, rain, pitch black low light roads, etc), this shouldn't be too much of a concern. For me, I will be installing 6000k HID's in my fogs, probably within a month or two.

My final setup will be 6000k HID lows and fogs & 6000k DRL LED's. This will leave me with my preferred level of function and style.

I hope this has been helpful. Sorry for the rambling!

    PART 1...
The factory DRL's are the high beam bulbs (H7's, same as the low beams). For the factory set up the bulb runs at half power for DRL mode, and full power for high beams. What many people like to do after getting HID lows is replace their factory DRL/high beam bulbs with LED's that match the color temp of their HID's. In your case you'd want 6000k LED's. Now, if you do that, you will not have an effective high beam any more. The LED's will come on for both DRL and high beam, but in high beam mode they won't be as bright as factory, so not particularly effective. However, most people who have HID lows don't feel like they need functional high beams, and prefer to have the matching color for their DRL's. I personally haven't done this yet, but probably will within the next couple weeks or so. I am one of those who doesn't think that I need functional high beams now with my HID lows.

    As for the fogs...
